Five on board, two reported dead.
A chartered jet crashed off southbound Pineridge Exit on I-75 in Naples, Florida crashes on highway. Eyewitness Brooke Elliott says 3 people walked away, probably the pilot and co-pilot may have died.
The audio from the pilot shows he was extremely calm when talking to Air Traffic Control after deviating from his charted route from Ohio State University, Columbus and headed to a final destination Ft. Lauderdale. There is a flying school at the university. The plane was a 2004 plane owned by East Shore Aviation.
The recorded conversation shows the pilot stated,
“We lost both engines.”
They were going to clear the airport, but he said,
“We're not going to make it.”
Brooke describes she saw tgree people walk by her car and she heard the them talking to the police, who were almost immediately on the scene as she was going southbound with just a few cars ahead of her. A truck crashed and it was “a miracle” the driver, a man, walked away.
Brooke relays tgat at first her radio went out, then she saw the plane coming down as she heard a “popping” sound before the plane crashed into flames.
The plane “did an entire flip” and then crashed and burned. Scortched earth, burning grass, toxic fuel, and the charred cement wall are seen.
Brooke was coming from North Naples, traveling south on the highway.
It was silent, because tgere was no engine going.
She literally saw the plane and said,
“What the heck"?”
It was apparent that the pilot was trying to land the plane. She saw it hit the cement wall, the plane literally blew up, and three people walked right by her car after they deplaned.
It is estimated that at 0 Altitude, the plane was going about 120 miles an hour.
Some people are seen walking toward the plane after it landed. Again, three people walked away from the plane.
There were two women ay a man. She heard them say they had come from Ohio.

SAY A PRAYER
Thankvyou father, that there are survivors and that the pilot did such an amazing job protecting everyone. Bless the famikies, witnesses, and everyone involved.
At first I thought the pilot was vaxxed, then the article relates two engines gave out. Sorry to hear about the crash. That had to be a relief for the people who survived, but grieveous to bear knowing people died. Never know.
