Heroine Evelyn Diekhaus Shot and Killed while Attempting to Pull the Fire Alarm, Protecting Her Classmates from the Shooter who Opened Fire at Covenant Christian School Yesterday

She was a "Shining Light" and her name deserves to live on.

As Audrey Hale, age 28, the shooter at Covenant Christian School opened fire yesterday, here is Evelyn Diekhaus at age 9, with the foresight and tenacity to try to pull the fire alarm to protect her classmates. She was one of three adults and three children that were murdered.

God bless this child’s soul, and that of her family. Bless them, comfort and guide them through this horrific time. Let them have your peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that she is with you, and she will be waiting to greet them in Heaven.

Clearly, those in the site of the shooter would know there was no fire. Others may have been able to escape. Luckily authorities handled. This LITTLE girl was smart and brave.
