The tornado was said to have caused widespread damage to Nash County, North Carolina, with trees and crops destroyed along the tornado's path. Meteorologists confirmed the tornado might have traveled as far as 20 miles, accumulating a 2.5-mile wall filled with debris near Interstate 95. Initial reports from Sheriff Keith Stone revealed that two people in Nash County were injured, cautioning the number could be higher. At least five homes were destroyed.
A witness said,
"It went from sunshine to pitch black.”
To clarify, Pfizer stated that their only Comirnaty COVID vaccine plant is in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In an email, a Pfizer spokesperson told Reuters that the Rocky Mount plant did not produce or store COVID vaccines.
Above: Pfizer’s website showing the plant made analgesics, syringes, and over 30 products, 15 of which were drugs, was later followed by a letter Pfizer sent to customers last Friday, saying this may lead to “continued or new supply disruptions in the near-term”.
Items lost in the Tornado included:
Epinephrine
Fentanyl
Lidocaine
Their inventory is scheduled to last less than 3 months, so if you need an EpiPen, probably best to refill it ASAP.
AOL News Reports “Not Overly Concerned”
Erin Fox, who tracks shortages as associate chief pharmacy officer for shared services at the University of Utah Health, said that Pfizer’s list didn’t make her overly concerned.
“Certainly things may worsen a bit, but the information Pfizer has provided lets us know that this is fairly short term and not a years long issue we’ll be dealing with,” Fox told CNN in an email. She noted the fact that many of the drugs have been in short supply means organizations have ways to manage.

Pfizer reported the facility has a manufacuring space, of which this tornado hit was not, of 1.4 million square feet on 250 acres in the east North Carolina. They said that had the tornado hit a manufacturing plant instead, that would have slowed down drug production. The fact that it just hit the warehouse is seen as a good sign by Pfizer.

WHAT I REALLY THINK
At first, everyone assumed this plant was filled with 50,000 pallets of COVID
