Newsom, A Democrat, is running for his second term. The former San Francisco Mayor, Newsom was elected Governor in 2018. He has led California on: climate change, gun control, access to abortion services.
Dalhe, State Senator and his Republican challenger. He has served 10 years in the state legislature, where he has represented a part if northerneast California. Dahle has criticized Newsom’s policies: the pandemic and the economy. He says he wants to help businesses by cutting taxes and government regulations.
