Please Help My Friend Mark: Run Over by a Hit and Run Car from Behind, Left Unconscious in the Street for An Hour
Finally, someone stopped to help. What A Miracle Mark Survived without A Traumatic Brain Injury!
I have known Mark for over twenty years as my Christian brother and hairdresser. He has been through a lot in his life, including being a single parent to his daughter and raising her by himself.
Can you imagine getting hit by a car from behind? To add to the trauma, Mark wasn't wearing a helmet.
And then the driver ditched him and left him laying on the ground unconscious. No one stopped for an hour!
A Sister’s Plea
My brother Mark was a victim of a hit and run crime while on his e-bike in the afternoon of New Years Eve Day 12.31.2023 at 2:30 in the afternoon. He was riding his e-bike because his car had been severely damaged a few days before by an uninsured motorist. Traveling in the bike lane in a residential area, he was hit by a car from behind, thrown from his bike and left unconscious in the road for an hour before a kind passerby saw him and called 911. He was then transported to the hospital and was in the trauma unit until Jan 7th . He sustained 14 rib fractures. He’s now in a care facility that provides daily therapy sessions but will have a long road to recovery. He is long time self employed without retirement and he needs assistance with lost income. His chosen field of work has been as a hair stylist. This enabled him as a single dad to homeschool his daughter as he worked in the salon. She is now a young adult. However as a senior still working he may lose most of his clientele because of his long recovery time. Please pray for a speedy recovery and if you’ll consider assisting him financially to help with hospital bills and lost wages, we would be most appreciative. Thank you for your consideration! God bless you for your kindness!

Miracles Never Cease
No doubt about it, Mark's angel was watching over him.
Do you believe in angels?
I do. Sometimes they appear to us in dreams, other times in person, and they can also appear before us as a human. The Bible teaches us to be hospitable to strangers:
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Thank you for helping Mark. Please share. And thank you for caring. Now we can go about our day feeling more grateful that we are in good health. And in good hands.
Sending healing light to Mark Burke for a speedy recovery!
