The Madrigal report is about to be presented in just a few minutes here in Geneva, and it poses a grave threat to the future of our Christian and religious freedoms.

My name is Daniela García, I'm from Colombia, and I'm writing to you from the UN headquarters, where a CitizenGO team has been displaced to put pressure on the delegates.

If governments, including the U.S., assume that freedom of religion violates LGBT rights, our Christian beliefs and practices will be at risk.

The UN's recommendations on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) policies could lead to governments meddling in religious affairs, violating our rights to practice our faith freely. This may force Churches to officiate same-sex marriages and limit priests' freedom to help homosexuals seeking assistance.
