TWITTER SPACE TO PRAISE GOD: Join us for: His Space: Praising God for His Mercies and Miracles! Hosted by @rfmad Today at 12:00 noon PST | 3:00 pm EST
We Listened to health problems, losses of health, houses, and loved ones. How turmoil and trials seem to "follow" some people, and many solutions.
I did not have a chance to provide my testimony at this Space but we spoke of many things: God’s Word, homeless people (and how not to be afraid of them), how Christ was homeless, and several hurting people who had losses of loved ones in their lives, loss of jobs, one house in foreclosure. Human tragedies.
As It Happened
That very night, we lost our internet due to a storm, so we ventured to a Starbuck’s (whose WiFi always seems to magically work) and in front of the subway sandwich store next door was a woman with light blue hair, pinpoint pupils, sitting on the ground.
What do you think I did?
More on that later….
My Top 10 Tips for Success + A BONUS!
Whatever it was, I put my mind to complete it. I looked up secrets
of success and discovered how to implement them in a meaningful
way. Most of them had to do with motivation.
BUT FIRST:
How do we trust God? How do we exercise faith?
My Top Scriptures for Gaining Your Miracle
Matthew 6:25-28
Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or worry about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air: they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not much more valuable than they?
Can any of you by worrying add a single hour
to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how
the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
Matthew 6:34
Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for
tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has
enough trouble of its own.
Luke 12:23
Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.
For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.”
1 Corinthians 9:24-25
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games, trains with strict discipline. They do it for a crown that is perishable, but we do it for a crown that is imperishable . . .
2 Corinthians 4:18
So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
James 2:21-22
Was not our father Abraham justified by what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working
together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
2 Thessalonians 1:4
That is why we boast among God’s churches about your perseverance and faith in the face of all the persecution and affliction you are enduring.
1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many
witnesses.
Hebrews 3:14
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end.
Hebrews 6:12
That you may not become sluggish but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Hebrews 10:39
But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

WHAT HAPPENED
She was cold. A storm was moving in, the skies were dark, and she sat with a bag of multicolored dry cereal in her lap, legs crossed. The blanket draped over her head in a most delicate manner, and she spent the majority of her time looking down at it.
I had no cash. I asked Ed for some, and he gave me a bill. I told him I was going to give her one of my jackets, because I had an extra in our car.
I poured over the back of our vehicle, finding it with an “AHA!” and a joy of elation in my soul.
For here I was, just earlier TODAY, telling everyone to be KIND to HOMELESS people - NOT to be AFRAID of them.
And I walked over to her and draped my jacket over her shoulders. I draped it ever so delicately, after gaining her permission in a confused state of mind. Then I slowly draped the hood over her head, noting that it would protect her from the wind.
I asked her if she minded if I prayed for her, and because of THIS Twitter Space, I told her,
You know that your Mommy misses you?
Because there were two people in the Space that had a homeless child - one still missing, the other came to Christ.
And here I was, living the life with one of God’s ANGELS in front of me…
… and I knew that, one more time God was winking at me.
And I loved her like her Mommy and Daddy all at once, asked her if I could pray for her, and she said, YES.
So I prayed for God to pour His Spirit over her, to protect her. And I felt that she had been raped, she got money for sex and I asked him to send people to her. Send people that would give her money, so she wouldn’t have to sell herself for food.
And just then, Ed came to us and gave her twice as much as before… and we encouraged and inspired, and LOVED ON HER - for her Mom for her Dad.
It was beautiful. God was there. SHE could feel him.
So keep praying for all the homeless people you see, and don’t be afraid of them. They are someone’s daughter, and some Mommy somewhere is crying and praying for her. That homeless man needs to shave, has no home, and probably smells just like Christ did, because HE HAD NO HOME.
Christ was homeless, a wanderer. And John The Baptist ate locusts in the desert, also homeless. We need to learn from Christ - because he told us that when we help these people, we could be
ENTERTAINING AN ANGEL.
