They bring freaks into classrooms to sexualize our children and now they get their panties in a wad for teaching our children God’s law! Pathetic!

So look what happened when they took God out of the classrooms…satan appeared! Look at the world….it’s all about Me, Me, Me! They glorify celebrates, athletes…all kinds of people that would not die for you but Jesus did🙏

Thank you Louisiana! 🙏🙏

ACLU, or any other civil liberty group should be defunded and deported to the middle east. They represent all that is upside down in this world. And the families suing can leave too! You don't like it, leave. That will make schools more safe. Amazing how ignorant some people are, not understanding this country was founded on judeo christisn principles.

The Founding Fathers would be proud of Louisiana! 👌 They have taken a great stance, upped the bar, and serve as a great example! As you say, let's have more states join!

I like that this happened but those who follow other beliefs, can say they should have their creed hanging up too. Do the students have to memorize them?

Hi Margaret,

The Ten Commandments are found in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5.

I do not know if you noticed that the poster-sized display of the Ten Commandments that must be exhibited in classrooms, related to the image you sent, reveals that the tenth commandment, as found in Exodus 20:17 and Deuteronomy 5:21, is divided into two commandments when it should be one commandment. There is now eleven commandants and not ten on the poster-sized image.

This is should be how the tenth commandment is recorded in Scripture:

Exodus 20:17 NKJV

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

And

‭Deuteronomy 5:21 NKJV‬

²¹ ‘You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife; and you shall not desire your neighbor’s house, his field, his male servant, his female servant, his ox, his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.’

As you can see, the tenth commandment is one commandment, not two.

So why has this been done? The reason I think this has been done is to accommodate Roman Catholicism. Let me explain some Roman Catholic trickery. They remove the second commandment in their translation of the Ten Commandments, and divide the tenth commandment into two commandments to maintain ten commandments otherwise the sum of the commandments would equate to nine commandments. Roman Catholicism's translation is forgery of God's word.

So what does the second commandment have to inform us that Roman Catholicism do not want their devotees to read and understand?

The second commandment in a correct translation of the Ten Commandments is:

Exodus 20:4-6 NKJV

⁴ “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. ⁵ You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, ⁶ but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

And

‭Deuteronomy 5:8-10 NKJV‬

⁸ ‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; ⁹ you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, ¹⁰ but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

Why would Roman Catholicism want to hide this from their devotees? Because molded images are found in Roman Catholicism that its devotees genuflect to, and the reason they have removed the second commandment from their Bible translation. That is not the only passage of Scripture they have removed or altered. There are others also. There are warnings in Revelation 22:18-19 with regards to eternal consequences for removing or adding to Scripture, or both.

I have close friends who are members of all three Abrahamic traditions as well Sikhs and Zoroastrians and Deists, who are monotheists. They agree with the precepts of the 10 Commandments but have problems with their being labeled as belonging to the Abrahamic religions only.
