You have to be a very hardy soul to live anywhere in FL these days--always has been problematic--with the extreme summer heat and humidity and horrible natural disasters...but in the past 25 years it has been increasingly perilous. My dear friend and her family who live in the "panhandle" area of FL (they lived in Compass Lake--that beautiful home was destroyed by the 2017 hurricane season--they now live in Pensacola...their homeowner's insurance premium has increased to over $600 PER MONTH so my friend (who is now 69 years young) had to return to working a PT job using her own car to ferry elderly people who cannot drive any more to their various appointments. She uses this also as a 'ministry' and she shares her love of the Lord Jesus Christ through showing His love to her "patients". They appreciate her immensely...now isn't that exactly what the Lord Jesus did while He walked this "terra firma"!!

SHALOM, Margaret!

That would be my friend, Kris!! She lifted my sagging spirits in 2013 when I was in a depressed state by reaching out to me on Facepoop where we had 'met' a few years before that. Her invitation to visit her in FL on a car trip I took with my friend was a very warm, positive experience and I've kept in touch with her ever since!!
