I was just talking with a friend about non profits that "raise money to stop child trafficking". She went to a dinner and they raised $30K in 15min. I asked her where she thought that money goes? We couldn't figure it out? Like everything else, I suspect it's a money laundering scheme. These parents should tap into these organizations and see if they’d help. If not, then that says a lot. I will never donate money to a charity after all I know about them. To an individual or local group yes!

I spoke to a man who works in our Walmart store, who grew up in WNC on and around Mt. Mitchell, NC. He told me and showed me pictures of how so many people, whole families, some of his own relatives were swept away by the flooding waters! Their houses, their whole families, everything just GONE! He showed me pictures of the highway into their community that is still in only one lane, the others lane was also swept away by the water! Just GONE!
The only way in or out is by using ATVs… when he was back in Greensboro area, he was looking at upgrading his ATV from an 800 model to 850 model. The salesman told him “no money for the deal… you may have the 850 model I’ll take your 800 model. “No questions asked !” 1. That’s the hearts of true North Carolinians right now” 2. People are soooo willing to help, all of our hearts are broken for the people in WNC! 🥲🙁😩

Fox 8 featured Stephanie Johnson who spearheaded "Rebuilding Haulers" a warehouse in Yancy County (northeast of Asheville). They supply necessities via donations. Construction supplies such as generators, tools, etc., are DESPERATELY needed to rebuild homes! Samaritans Purse is helping with demolition, etc.
**Some regions of the mountains could see up to a foot of snow from Thursday through Saturday (Nov 21st-23rd)! Also, Wind gusts of up to 30 plus mph were recorded today and will last into tomorrow.

Why isn’t the full power of the government there niw to clear the ruble, recover the dead and perform burial services, bring in needed supplies and rebuild homes or provide temporary living facilities or at least trailers? There is actually no news to be found on what actually occurred! I have heard one group of people who sent trailers of needed clothing, boots, tools, food, water etc from several states away - which is wonderful but where is the U S government and why are they taking children away and housing them somewhere safe with their families and loved ones???!!
