Quite the eventful weekend in Austin, Texas! Mr Trump promised the Libertarian Party National Convention that if elected to a second term, on Day 1 he will commute to time served, the prison sentence of Austin-born Bitcoin entrepreneur Ross Ulbricht. Meanwhile Mr Adams is bringing suit in US District Court in Austin, against a group of corporations that he says colluded with federal employees to suppress information, in a scheme that brought unjust profits to the corporations and promotions or other benefits to the federal employees.

If the federal employees can be identified in pretrial discovery, I certainly hope that whoever is Attorney General at that point, initiates a criminal case against each of the John Does who is presently a federal employee.

Our Judge Advocate General services of each branch of the armed forces has habitually never pressed charges against a service member for carrying out an unlawful order, but has frequently prosecuted those in command, for giving an unlawful order. It would be good if civilian courts took the same approach in the Adams suit. Supervisory federal workers should know better than to violate constitutional rights.

Which is why the Ulbricht conviction and sentence are a related issue. Mr Ulbricht ran an underground web server in Iceland that connected back through servers in the US, enabling anonymous buying and selling, using Bitcoins for payment. It was only after his conviction, that DEA and FBI personnel lied to the judge, claiming Mr Ulbricht sold contracts for murders for hire. This obviously scared the judge and he gave Mr Ulbricht two life sentences plus 40 years, for what is usually at most a ten-year felony.

Ross Ulbricht got locked up forever, because a federal worker lied.

Similarly the truth about palliative treatments for COVID was concealed and false statements made about two COVID vaccines, allegedly because John Does 1-10 lied.

No potential liar should ever have the power to command us to believe and repeat what could be a lie. That's why we have the First Amendment.

The plot thickens. I hope this rattles things up a bit and sends clear messages to those who should have ears to listen.

Too much illegal activity has been going on for too long.

I don't know why these things take so long to file, when everything was occurring four years ago!
