JUST yesterday I was taking my daily prayer hike along the Erie Canal, and ran into a woman, Angela, that I've known up here (in CNY) for years. But that prompted Angela to recount to me HER experience in an LA hospital of giving birth to her son. The SHORT story is, they FORCED the woman who at the time could barely speak English - to have a C Section;... against her wishes.. then they MESSED UP the C Section so that they declined to let her see her own newborn - Then she developed SEPSIS - (that can kill you) from the poorly done surgery, so because she was so SICK.. they were NOT GOING TO GIVE HER HER OWN CHILD. Angela told me in an impassioned recollection of the MONTHS of fighting with health authorities in LA, and having to go to court.. what it was like to KEEP HER OWN CHILD. She only won because she refused to give up. (Take note moms).. And there he was, the handsome young man, to show for her courage and indefatigability.
