I SO appreciate your sharing all of the "earth angels" efforts to assist the families still living in dire conditions in western NC, Margaret--gives me 'pause' to proclaim the Almighty's still working in the hearts and minds of "everyday people of faith".
Amen! There are people saying that they stopped believing in God but when they see the churches helping, it gives them faith and hope - and LOVE! Gotta spread that feeling!
I have said for DECADES tht the Church of Jesus Christ needs to show some "Book of James" Christianity for the ills on this earth--and that is just what is happening RIGHT NOW because of the Helene disaster. PRAISE GOD for suffering - sometimes it does bring out the BEST in Christians!!
