My granddaughter sings as well and we were lucky enough to hear her performing in Stroudsburg, PA. We were up there for my newest granddaughter’s christening and just lucky about the timing. We were further lucky that the performance was on my 74th birthday and she had the whole place sing Happy Birthday to me!
The only bad part of the trip was when I got in the car to go home and it refused to start in the -11 degree weather. Even though it cost over $400, it gave us 3 more days with the grandchildren which really balanced out the bad.
Thank you, I am very proud of her! She not only has a beautiful voice but has entered school to become an obstetric nurse. She plans to make CDs of lullabies to give to each of the new mothers wherever she works!
Interesting that your reply came in just as I was writing to Polly St. George about what I saw in your latest post. My wife’s maiden name is St. George and her family migrated here from Canada long ago. Perhaps they are related? It’s such an unusual name and, as I told Polly, almost everyone we’ve come across with it is related in some way within the proverbial six degrees of separation.
Lindsay Mae has composition. The recording is excellent and her vocals add the icing. I live in Australia, and have sent links to my friends. They love the track. Here's hoping some movie music director gets to hear her song down the track, much like Clint Eastwood did when he wanted Roberta Flack's "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" for the movie 'Play Misty For Me', or the Lauren Wood composition "Fallen" (recorded in the early 70's) which featured in the 1990's movie "Pretty Woman". (Sold 7 million soundtrack copies world wide).
I wish Lindsay Mae all the best in her musical endeavours.
Very excellent that your friends like it, too! And what a great idea on the movie ventures, as I could definitely see how this song can make you cry! With the right story behind it, this could definitely help a movie go up another level! Praying she gets a break!
Lindsay, has a very special voice that penetrator my soul with emotions about being with Danielle again. Tell Lindsay I don't have to see her to know she is beautiful.
AwE, sweetheart!!! I knew she would have this effect on you, dear. I will tell her, and I know that she will be very touched. God bless you and keep you!!! I know your Danielle speaks to you and is always with you!
What a beautiful song! She sounds like a professional singer. This one should go viral as a number one hit. I love it.
