Your numbers would probably be a lot higher if Microsoft wasn’t hiding your posts in their JUNK folder. It has now been well over a month since any of your posts make it to my inbox despite the fact that I have you defined as a contact.

I don’t know how that gets fixed but I hope it does soon!

I check my junk mail folder at least twice a day for this reason - also Microsoft. Suddenly many Substack writers are landing there that never did in the past.

Great idea. I also automatically send certain senders' emails into a file, so at least I don't have to look for them.

Oh, gee. That explains it! I really don't trust Substack very much.

Note: The email and letter was regarding what I personally read, not what others read, which would be of more interest.

I don’t believe SubStack has a hand in this, it’s being put into the Microsoft Outlook Junk folder.

Got it, thank you. 🤗

These substack stats are not really accurate. I read most of your articles from beginning to end, but I often do it in my email app or open it in Brave browser, since they are more functional. Substack then sees it as unread, or maybe 5% read.

Yes, they don't track (that I know of) how much my articles are read. The Substack email and meme considered what I read, not what I write.

Why do you support this privacy breach of Substack?

I normally admire your smartness.

I don't mind your seeing how much I read.

That is not the point. They intrude your privacy.

Congrats Margaret. Top 5% pf anything, except being an attorney, politician, hospital administrator, pharma chemist/biologist, false prophet or other type of organized crime worker ... , is something to take notice and commend for your efforts.

Hi, thanks, I appreciate that!

It just says that I am a big Substack reader;). Today, to avoid being in an echo chamber, I obtain much of my content from sources outside of Substack.

To be in the top 5% is really impressive! Great reads btw :)
