In yesterday’s hearing, when asked by Senator Josh Hawley why no one has been relieved of duty or fired, the acting director of the US Secret Service replied that it is an ongoing investigation. Senator Hawley pressed again, asking why the individual Pittsburgh field agent in charge wasn’t put on administrative leave. His reply included that the agent was still working protective details. That may have been a Freudian slip!
Lot's to speculate on here but I have to ask you a question as a Dr. If someone has been shot in the ear, I would expect some trauma. I've had various injuries in my life, casts, bandages, burns, stitches, etc. I've been looking at all of the pictures and the bandage just doesn't look right. It looks like the corner or an envelope hanging on his ear. Maybe I'm missing something but I just feel like there would be more to it, bulkier. Generally with medical treatment things are built up. Maybe it's stitches, thengauze, tape, outer wrap. As it would heal 'm sure it would require less. Just curious.
