I believe that if Scott had argued with security, or insisted that he wasn't trespassing, they would have arrested him.
He did the right thing by filming it - and then leaving.
If you are ever in a similar situation, my recommendation is to call 911. An officer wiill respond by appearing in person, and then you can videotape that conversation, too.
And remember that if a private agency says you are trespassing, they are probably right - it's their call.
