I'm currently looking for a natural remedy for Avian Bird Flu, something that is inhibits the viral neuraminidase enzyme, like TamiFlu. We need to keep ahead of their game!

Also, the doctors have been influenced by drug reps who walk into their offices with freebies and food. They stop thinking.

I remember as a premed in a cardiology department, they gave away cruises to Mexico! That was before it was illegal, but what a bribery system it has always been...

That's exactly the question. They are robots pursuing the state agenda out of financial gain and fear of losing their income. Pawns of the state.

That's exactly why people tey harder to stay healthy and if needed, pay cash to see an alternative doctor- to take back control of their lives.

Medical Murder is the #1 Cause of Death in the USA.

What prompted your epiphany to stay away? You were very much ahead of the curve! GOOD FOR YOU!

I dropped my regular medical insurance a year ago. Have a cash-pay, Christian co-op instead, and count on God for my health 🙌

Definitely feel a bit richer! Thank you for your input!

AETNA. What insurance company has the money to pay for a nurse to in their car a week? Thank goodness you chased her off - I wonder exactly what she wanted. Calling every day? What the heck?

I am sorry you and your dear mother had to go through this so shortly after your father's passing. How long ago did this occur?

Okay, so you are saying that the Department of Social Services directly pays for this as a "Case Worker"?

I am very familiar with Case Workers or Medical Social Workers, AKA "MSW"s.

So you are saying that possibly

1. MSW's are assigned to these cases.

2. MSWs want to come to your house.

3. They ASK to come to your HOME!?!

4. What are they looking at, IN YOUR HOME! "Trip and Fall" criteria?

5. What information FROM MY physical HOUSE do they want to know?

6. Who has been visited in their HOME?

7. Did they carry a clipboard or fill out out demographic (address, race, ethnicity, age, sex, religion, etc) or other information?

8. Oh my gosh. I need to talk to someone who opened their house to a MSW. The Medical Social Workers are now possibly BEING USED to GET INTO YOUR HOUSE?

9. HOW MUCH ARE THEY GETTING PAID?

Expand full comment

I am so sorry. It is such a very tragic situation.

I considered the request a blatant data grab at the least and most likely a veiled attempt to categorize my medical history and assets to my detriment.

Expand full comment

I'm going to add a couple more questions, thank you so much! And HOW AWFUL they did this to you. What could have prompted it? A recent hospitalization?

Expand full comment

I recently joined the insurance thru Medicare, and have been avoiding all traditional doctors visits , paying a concierge.

I think the data is a very valuable commodity in itself. The company “0ffering “ the service is owned by a huge insurance company. The service is sold to smaller companies touting its AI abilities to contact appropriate? clients( I researched.). The friendly mailer offers the receiver(me) a friendly visit by a specialist to assess the safety of your surroundings and to review your medical history. The message is very obtuse and says something like “Everybody can use a friend” or something to that effect. I ignored it and got a phone call 2 months later that I didn’t answer. I think recent membership, age and location might be a trigger. Possibly medical history. Only AI knows for sure.

When I complained to my local agent they brushed off as a service those that needed it. Callow youth.

Expand full comment

WoW. That is intense, thank you for the input. That could be AI is quite fascinating.

(I am using the "👉" for my notes)

👉 MedicCare

I didn't expected that MediCare would try this at the same time as private insurance. Thought one or the other would experiment.

👉 Recent membership. New AI tool trigger.

👉 When did this happen, and how many times? I am adding another Survey Question for the number of letters and phone calls.

Expand full comment

I think I still have the mailer and will look for it.

Thank You!

I have Medicare A and B plus a supplemental policy. I didn't know if the questions would apply to the supplement, but I went ahead and answered the questions. No contact from them.

What kind of questions were asked? If it is personal, please email me if you could: TheRebelPatient@substack.com ~ Thank you!~

I should have been more clear. I was talking about answering your survey questions. I've had no contact from my insurance company.

Ok then, you wouldn't be able to answer anything so I will go back and ask about that...thank you for the clarification, too. Thank you for helping and I will probably do another survey asking all of the questions.

I just received a text message from pediatrician & the insurance my son has. See my comment below. I’ll restack and share the message screen shot. I get at least 1 call or message / month.

Expand full comment

1 call or message a month? Why are they so interested in everyone (all of a sudden)?

Expand full comment

The previous message I got said “over the past year it might not have felt safe to take your child to the Dr. this is a reminder that it is time to take your child to see the Dr for their annual wellness exam. Your child will get routine checkups and vaccines to make sure they stay healthy” . So now I’m officially creeped out. Since my kids haven’t been vaccinated in almost 5 years guess what? They never get sick anymore. They are older teens but still! They are very active doing teen stuff and around a lot of people constantly.

Expand full comment

Oh! So since they mention vaccines, now it makes sense that they want to give people more shots! That's exactly what I wanted to know! Thank you!

And good for you on stopping their vaxes... I don't even want my dog to get them!

I answered my 3 or 4 calls last year with why ate you calling me I'm not sick and I'm still a working nurse. So don't call me again.

Expand full comment

Okay, Patti. I have not talked to you or heard of your name before, so please forgive me.

Expand full comment

Actually Doc you have heard of me before now. I'm the nurse who does microscopy and posted pictures of 2 books on live blood and dried blood analysis. You said you were going to buy the books.

Expand full comment

Yes! I did buy them!

And I looked into Courses, one including the microscope was $7k ... such a shame that I am not 20 years younger!

Expand full comment

Doc you can get a decent microscope for much less than what you quoted. You can also do other online courses. They are out there. The one I quoted elsewhere in my stack was the most expensive. Your age doesn't matter it's your curiosity and interest that matters. Anything that you could contribute from your own observations would help this effort to find solutions to this what has been done to humanity. Just saying!

Expand full comment

I actually had someone gift me a simple microscope. That's one of the reasons I bought the books, to see if I can replicate anything that would help evaluate blood damage from the vax or shedding. Still trying to figure it out!

Expand full comment

And Wow. Maybe THAT's a key word, to say you're in the profession... then they can stop calling. Did it work?

I thought this was ridiculous and I felt that they would tell me this was wrong or that was wrong or unsafe and they would make me make changes or whatever. I just don't trust Aetna who to me is an arm of the Feds. The last thing I want are these people trapsing through my house, taking notes, and then what will happen next? No thank you! I told them I will never allow them into my house and stop calling me with these stupid things! Meanwhile they cancelled my Medicare in January and didn't tell me about that! I didn't find out until March! They call for stupid things but not important things!

You are AWESOME AND AMAZING! You are BEAUTIFUL and IMPORTANT!!!

They canceled you? And you think it's related to your refusal for a home visit?

Report them for harassment to your local attorney General in your state and and that they cut off your insurance without notification.

Anyone can email me TheRebelPatient@substack.com

I've never heard of reporting insurance cancellation to the State Attorney General. You would think that's a big gun.

Expand full comment

Doc I said that because there was harassment of this person who reacted to the company's harassment and was subsequently canceled without the persons knowledge. That's not just harassment its retaliation for standing up and saying her displeasure about all the calls or letters.

Expand full comment

The more people who call the state to complain about the harassment from insurance companies, the faster the calls and letters will go away or decrease in frequency.

It seems the State Department of Insurance is the proper channel, per the above. Perhaps a lawsuit would call attention by the State Attorney General, but I don't know. Thank you for your input!

I searched for whom to complain to re: medical insurance company and found the following:

"6 Ways To File a Complaint About Your Insurance Company

If you want to complain about your insurance, here are the most common options:

1. Contact your insurance agent.

2. Write to an executive at the insurance company.

3. Ask a third party such as an ombudsman to help with your dispute.

4. File a complaint with your state department of insurance, which regulates insurance activity and insurer compliance with state laws and regulations.

5. Seek arbitration if that is an option in your policy.

6. File a legal claim against the insurer in court.

If you’re not satisfied with your insurance company, you can file a complaint. Delays, unsatisfactory settlements and claim denials are among the most common reasons people file complaints against their insurers, according to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).

And if you’re worried your complaint might fall into an empty void, you might take some comfort in knowing that 29% of complaints against insurance companies resulted in a compromised settlement or resolution. One-fifth (20%) of complaints led to the company position being overturned, according to the NAIC."

I've been on Aetna Medicare for 4 years now. Aetna has a program to receive "Healthy Rewards". One of those rewards is to have a home health review. To receive the $50 gift card, you have to agree to have a 3rd party nurse (maybe a social worker, not sure) to come to the home. During Covid, they could do it remotely via Zoom or some other online video app. I did it the one time because it was remote and the questions I was asked were like the questionnaire from my PCP during routine yearly wellness exams.

I have not agreed to anyone coming to my home nor will I in the future.

If I recall, there was only one or two robo calls saying that I had this option to have a home health visit.

I added more Survey Questions so please go back and check:) (I use the "👉" as a tag to myself)

👉 Anetna Medicare.

I thought these were 2 different programs? Aetna is private insurance and Medicare is 2nd insurance for disability or over 65?

👉 The $50 Gift Card is something that a few people have mentioned.

👉 "Third Party Nurse" may be a MSW.

👉 "Aetna "Healthy Rewards Program" pays $50 for a "Home Health Review" that requires a nursing appointment that could be vis ...

👉 Zoom meetings held in lieu of Home Health visit(?)

👉 "Third Party" Nurse would "Review"?

Review what? And Any 3rd Party, or just an MSW?

👉 "Questions asked": What questions, exactly? Exactly which PCP questions were asked during your yearly visit?

👉 What year were the Robo-Calls? Did it sound like a robotic voice? Man or woman?

Thank You!

I'll add that I suspect they probably look to see if you have firearms in the house or maybe, in today's environment, if you have spare bedrooms to house illegals!

Expand full comment

I need the checklist of items they evaluated.

👉 Did they evaluate your Risk of Falls? Look at your rugs and stairs for falling potential?

Expand full comment

Just reminded me of my stint as a home health nurse. On the intake evaluation we looked at potential safety issues, fall hazards, ability to ambulate ect. I had been assigned to evaluate an older gentleman who had trouble walking due to a diabetic foot wound. He would leave the door open for the nurses and others who came to help care for him. On the sofa table behind where he sat was his companion, a .44 magnum revolver well within reach in case someone with ill intent came in . It didn’t bother me because I knew of him, he had been a patient with the agency before, he was a veteran & a nice man. But wow! That thing was something you would use to protect yourself from a grizzly. I can just imagine in our current scenario a caseworker would react if they came into someone’s home to see a gun sitting out. One of the questions on wellness visits is “are there firearms in the home”?

Expand full comment

WOW, that's such a personal question, to ask about firearms in the home. And isn't that like our Veterans, to have a gun within reach? In some states, there is no gun registration, no license to carry, AND no license to carry CONCEALED! In other states like California, you can't get a license to carry concealed unless you are practically a judge.

I would love to see the list of questions like that... and their observational check list. For example, do they "tell on you" if you are raising chickens and growing tomatoes? Hmmm.

Expand full comment

Last year I received numerous phone calls from someone claiming to have a benefit for Medicare beneficiaries in the form of an "Annual Wellness Visit" by an RN. When I asked what this was for, I was told that it was an extra set of eyes on my medical care to make sure that my needs were being met. I told them each time that I had no need for one more set of eyes on my care.

Expand full comment

WoW. How can they suddenly be so interested in our health? How do they have the time and resources? How did it make you feel?

Expand full comment

Suspicious and patronized. Always. Follow. The. Money. I'm a liability for them I'm sure and wonder what they would gain by interviewing (?interrogating) me? Sounds a bit paranoid I know...

Expand full comment

Oh, I am so ashamed for them!!!

It's not paranoid at all. They are doing this to a fair number of people- it's not rare!

But I wonder what their triggers are. Here are a few from the comments:

👉 New insurance coverage

👉 Recent death of a spouse

👉 Teen annual exam

👉 Chronic Disability pain

👉 Disability

👉 No apparent reason

My insurance calls me every so often to do a wellness check in my home. I refuse them everytime. Makes no sense if you have a primary care doctor that you can see. Sometimes I think they want to give you the jab, so I refuse them.

Expand full comment

So you have never given permission... I would think that is super smart! Who would know that they might have nefarious intentions?

... someone out there might have made the mistake of giving permission to have a home visit. I would think that person would think the best of everyone, and not suspect anything.

I want to hear from that person.

And in the meantime,

👉 When did this happen?

👉 How often?

👉 What insurance?

What do you think they (really) want?

Thank you!

AETNA calls and sends out flyers about this house visit supposed bonus. Since at least when the jabs started coming out. I do not trust the medical industry since at least 40 years, I was holistic since then. Allopathic medicine doesn't cure anything. Makes things worse. People die from pharmaceuticals. Just ask Bruce Lipton, PhD. He wrote about it in his book, Biology of Belief.

Please send me the flyer if you get another one... still waiting to get one from anyone... people can email me at TheRebelPatient@substack.com as I want to put it in an article.

Can't wait to see the flyer. Did it have pictures? Or was it more like a letter? Thank YOU!

Did it mention vaccines at all? Or give any impression that you needed anything more than just an exam?

I am still looking for a letter or voicemail. One person said they have a letter but I don't know if they will share it with me 🙏 but I pray they do.

If anyone shares, they can publish it on their own, co-author an article with me, or I can anonymously publish it.

Interesting they put additional money into a heavier paper stock. (Trying to be more convincing?) Thank you, Ann! I'm in the process of trying to get more surveys done so that we have a higher sample size... will publish an update on Monday.

See also one of my Notes from last night, as I did summarize a bit of the results with only a bit over 40 people answering the questions. I appreciate each one.
