I have purchased and am within a page or two of completing Jack King's insightful (and disturbing, but we're sort of getting used to that!) book on euthanasia and the disdain for human life that feeds its appearance and promotion (and the other, especially palliative care, resources being discontinued to force people into relieving their pain or feelings of hopelessness by signing up for death by doctor.). It's a great, fast, but serious read and it integrates well with the "rest" of the picture as it is materializing before us and making its way into our daily lives. (akin to gangrene or some other form of parasitic death). A glance at chapter 21 says it most succinctly: "1)...Euthanasia is being promoted all around the world (just as the cvd fraud was...)2) The media is promoting a superficial, one-sided view of euthanasia as a way to relieve pain and stress. 3) Palliative care, offered to patients who are seriously or terminally ill, is being defunded. 4) The number of patients developing cancer (and requireing care) has increased dramatically.......Many newly diagnosed patients are suffering from fast growing cancers. There can be no doubt that many cases of cancer are caused by the cvd 'vaccine'. As the number of patients increases, so the quality of care decreases. 5) The cvd fraud led to an increase in compliance - with the majority of people now prepared to do whatever they are told to do .......The people who were compliant during the "pandemic" [quotes mine] will be compliant when offered euthanasia. 6) The official incidence of mental illness is increasing very rapidly - particularly among children & young people. Laws are being changed so the mentally ill can be accepted as candidates for death. 7) Laws concerning euthanasia are being changed so that children can decide themselves without their parent's knowledge or intervention. 8) Politicians & doctors' trade unions have deliberately & systematically destroyed health care.....other health care services everywhere have failed the public with the quality & quantity of services have deteriorated." As God's creation, Christ's own, and the object s of the Triunity's desire and love, we are facing ugliness that evidences the onslaught of evil and hatred of organic life on a scale previously only hinted at by petty dictators and psychopaths (I would also submit that the number of psychopaths and sociopaths has increased exponentially!).
Very nice summary. The only thing that I see missing is the spiritual aspect of good vs. evil, i.e., God vs Satan, and how God's Creation is being manipulated. Is there a spiritual aspect (or chapter) in the book?
No, not of any substance that I recall -- and I concur with your assessment -- we are nothing if not first and foremost spiritual creatures made in God's image, redeemed via His Son, our Savior's death, made righteous by the appropriation of that atoning death and life-giving (the infusion of His eternal life into our dead ones) resurrection, and the power of His intercession and advocacy before the Father on our behalf as we walk in newness of life indwelt and empowered by the Holy Spirit of Truth, dead to sin and alive to Christ Jesus....this is essential, non-negotiable and at the center of any and everything that we consider or undertake in this life or that we endure/embrace or face (not alone) in adversarial encounters of whatever magnitude or scope. "It is finished "are among the most triumphant of words and we stand in them and in the One who uttered them, regardless of difficulty or circumstance, of opposition or of persecution, knowing that our lives are His and one day we will no longer view Him and His eternal kingdom through a glass darkly, but in faith bear fruit as we abide awaiting the final redemption of creation and our earthly bodies.

Canada's rates of euthanasia have exploded in the past few years. They are trying to get "mental illness" approved for a viable euthanasia excuse. (Diagnosed by whom? Ohhhh, socialized health care.)
The Quebec Physicians College wants it for infants. We have no limits on abortion, and mature minor laws will no doubt end up allowing any child who wants to die to do so.
