Yeah, no.

Apache’s are two seater.

You sound like the press.

A correction was made. I sound like a reporter because the initial reports were that of an Apache. Get over it and try to be helpful.

It was not an Apache. It was a Blackhawk. Completely different helicopter.

I believe it was a slightly different model, known as a white hawk. I wonder who was on the plane they wanted dead?

That was my first question. Now we know that the plane carried some members of an ice skating team. We don’t know about the helicopter crew.

I saw a comment in a chat about 9pm central time last night stating they had heard a rumor already that a vip was on the copter. It's all both sad and infuriating. This should not have happened.

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

The airplane was on a perfect and routine line of approach to the airport. The helicopter was going straight at the airplane for an extended period of time. It is a CLEAR NIGHT, the lights on the plane were blazing, why didn’t the helicopter go up or down, or turn. Why didn’t the control tower tell the helicopter what to do instead of asking if they saw the plane. This is a bad situation that looks like it should have been prevented. NOT GOOD!!!

Unless someone was on it they wanted dead.

Yes, the Black Hawk helicopter can have automatic pilot and fly autonomously. The Black Hawk has been developed into an Optionally Piloted Vehicle (OPV) that can operate with or without a crew.

Seems to work fine.

Asking one aircraft if they have the other in site is a standard, common transmission.

On short final into Reagan. Sure. Fly much?

What does their location have to do with it.

Risk.

Expand full comment

Ok, so explain to me how asking for visual confirmation of location presents a risk.

Also, the helicopter knew the aircraft was in the area. It’s a matter of which airstrip either would use. Such a tragedy.

Expand full comment

Which airstrip?!

Expand full comment

It seems from what the news media is reporting is that there was some confusion over which landing strip to take.

Airstrip 33, a smaller one that was rarely used.

Quite interesting. Adds more questions!

I live in Wichita and this ia ALL over the news. No names have been released yet...they are still contacting families of the deceased. Plane had 64 on board and copter had 3. No survivors. Just tragic. Mayor is doing a press conference at noon today. According to local news, air traffic control DID ask the Blackhawk if they saw the plane at least twice and received no answer and collision happened seconds later. Dr. McCullough has a good piece on it also. Praying for these poor families and the first responders. This should NOT have happened.

Thank you. There certainly has been a lot of conflicting reports on this, and it's just a sad situation all around. And it is an embarrassment for the US military.

Expand full comment

Agreed!! Dr. McCullough's piece sheds a little more light on it. It appears that the Blackhawks don't have a TCAS - Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System. Which is beyond ridiculous. Something is off about this whole thing. Just doesn't sit right with me.

I appreciate you for stating in your heading that the copter hit the plane. I've seen so many reports stating the plane crashed into the helicopter.

I don't know what their paths were supposed to be, but from the videos I've seen, it looks like the helicopter ran directly into the plane.

Are the rules in the sky like the rules on a river? From my understanding, the larger vessel has the right of way. So I am assuming the plane had the right of way, and was on the correct path. Meanwhile, the smaller copter didn't see the plane to give it the right of way? Or did it intentionally hit the plane, for God knows what reason.?

Shortly after the crash, I saw a post in a chat that stated a rumor was already going around that a secret vip was on board the copter.

Maybe it's just a glittery shiny sparkle to distract us while something much more nefarious and illegal is being done elsewhere?!?

Sending yall only positive healing energy, vibrations, frequencies, and prayers, along with truck loads of love, big but gentle hugs, and monolithic tons of PERSEVERANCE always!

Thank you for the kind words. It isn't easy to catch multiple stories and synthesize them into one.

I hadn't seen that a VP may be on board, but it makes sense because there was at least one body pulled from the water, draped with a folded American Flag, and saluted by 20 EMTs and SAR, as you see on my follow-up article here: https://therebelpatient.substack.com/p/update-continuity-of-government-with

Try to find that link for me, please! I would love that. And then let's see who moves forward and looks like a double.
