Atheists and agnostics would start to find answers in peer-reviewed Near Death Experiences. Consciousness, intelligence, will, are all spiritual properties of the spiritual immortal soul. How do we know that? some of the blind from birth see in colors for the first time when they are brain dead (no electricity, no activity, no bloodflow, no oxygen) and also no heartbeat and no breathing. The same happens with some of the deaf: they listen for the first time to conversations around or if they go up, even celestial music!

“there are characteristic features that are commonly observed in NDEs. These characteristics include a perception of seeing and hearing apart from the physical body, passing into or through a tunnel, encountering a mystical light, intense and generally positive emotions, a review of part or all of their prior life experiences, encountering deceased loved ones, and a choice to return to their earthly life.”

"God is love" says the Bible, the Word of God (1 John 4:7-12) Do you believe in love? then you believe in God. How do you prove love to yourself? If you prove love, you prove God! There’s no love without God, the source of all true love. He’s not only the love of my life, He’s the life of my love!

Jesus said “I’m... the life.” (John 14:16)

“God gives life to everything.” (1 Timothy 6, 13)

Do you believe in life? You prove life, you prove God, eternal life, source of all life:

That is where you should start your journey of discovery, but first pray: "God, life of my love, if you exist, please show me the way to find the bliss of knowing You"

or even better:

Think this with your heart: “Jesus, if you are the Son of God, I consecrate my heart to your Heart. Please send me the Holy Spirit so I can see Truth and have the courage to convert and follow Him wherever He leads”

I do. I know who holds that blasphemous title!!!!!

Expand full comment

The Pope's title is not "Pontifex Maximus" but "summus pontifex", which means high priest: it's the same title of the high priest (supreme pontiff) of the Old Testament, which is a foreshadow of the New Testament.

"The Latin term pontifex means “bridge builder.” In ancient Roman religion, the head priest was called the pontifex maximus (the greatest bridge builder). Julius Caesar held this title more than 40 years before Jesus was born.

After Christianity was legalized under the Emperor Constantine (313), it became the state religion within 100 years. Adopting a title coming from Roman paganism became feasible then. Applying this title to the bishop of Rome, the successor of St. Peter, seemed culturally appropriate.."

Hi Kimberly.

I know Walter Veith preaches this, and one can make a strong argument that it is the US corporation of Rome. I'm not sure, but I choose the Jesuits as the second beast. Their hole oath is to the papacy, no matter what crimes they need to commit to accomplish this and the dissolution or ending of the Protestants.

I have the proof that US is wholly owned and governed by the papacy. US is of America. It is not America, nor the people inhabiting it, except the Jesuits, Freemasons, Catholics, Rosicrucian.... that claim it and run it in continual war against God's people here.

The US corporate government was never what we were taught to believe. It is a Jesuit instigated creation for Rome. The original name of the ten square miles known as District of Columbia is Rome. The "White" house is named after Andrew White, the first Jesuit to step foot on this "Mary"land plot and plantation. This District land was donated to this Jesuit/Freemason US corporation government by Dan Carroll, brothetr of the famed Jesuit Card. John Carroll and signer of all three organic US documents; Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, and US Constitution.

So, to your point and mine, US would then definitely be a part and product of the 2nd beast, which covers the entire world and all its religious, commercial, governmental, education, military, theater..., not just US. Again, this is my opinion, only. The Jesuits and their secrecy, casuistry, and most maddening and destructive acts in history just seem to fit closer to the description and power of the 2nd beast for me.

Yes, Kimberly, (John 14:6) Jesus told his disciples, " 'I am' the way, and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Further, John 1:12, "To all who did receive him (Jesus Christ), who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." This is not "intellectual" belief: For by faith you are saved through grace, not because of works (of man) lest any man should boast. MY FAVORITE, though we still while in our human bodies are being sanctified and edified by our obedience because we love the Jesus Christ for his propitiation and resurrection is this verse "Whoever HEARS my word and believes him who sent me has ETERNAL LIFE. He does not come into judgement, but has passed from death to life." John 5:24.

1999 Lutheran World Federation and the Catholic Church Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification:

“Together we confess: By grace alone, in faith in Christ’s saving work and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts while equipping and calling us to good works.”

Also answers:

1) Do the justified cooperate in the preparation for, and reception of, justification? 2) Is justification a divine decree of forgiveness or interior renewal?

3) Is justification received by faith alone or by faith together with hope and charity, which bring one into communion with God?

4) Does concupiscence, that is to say, our innate tendency to be self-indulgent, make us sinners, even when we do not give in to it?

5) Is God’s law given only in order to accuse sinners of their failures, bringing them to repentance, or also to provide them with a rule of life that they can and must observe?

6) Does faith include an assurance that one will in fact attain final salvation?

7) Are the heavenly rewards for which we hope things that we also merit, or are they to be understood exclusively as undeserved gifts from God?

Council of Trent does not absolutely rule out all notions whatever of justification by faith alone or even of imputation of God’s righteousness. It condemns only extreme versions of these notions:

https://www.patheos.com/blogs/davearmstrong/2015/10/catholics-justification-by-faith-alone.html

How did early Christians interpret live justification?

Pope Clement of Rome (d. c. 101) ... we may share in his promised gifts ... if we earnestly seek the things which are pleasing and acceptable to him; if we do the things which are in harmony with his blameless will ... (Epistle to the Corinthians, 35)

Ignatius of Antioch (50 – c. 110) I also am the more encouraged, resting without anxiety in God, if indeed by means of suffering I may attain to God, so that, through your prayers, I may be found a disciple [of Christ]. (Epistle to Polycarp, ch. 7)

Epistle of Mathetes to Diognetus (possibly as early as 130, or as late as 180) ... you shall know what God bestows on such as rightly love him, ...  presenting in yourselves a tree bearing all kinds of produce ... (ch. 12)

Shepherd of Hermas (c. 150) Have a care, then, you who serve the Lord, and have him in your heart, that you work the works of God, remembering his commandments ... work your own work, and you will be saved. (Bk. III, Similitude 1)

Polycarp (69-155) But he who raised him up from the dead will raise us up also, if we do his will, and walk in his commandments, and love what he loved, keeping ourselves from all unrighteousness ... (Epistle to the Philippians, ch. 2)

Justin Martyr (100-165) Each man goes to everlasting punishment or salvation according to the value of his actions. (First Apology, ch. 12)

Theophilus (d. c. 180) Keeping the commandment of God, he should receive as reward from him immortality, ... For God has given us a law and holy commandments; and everyone who keeps these can be saved ... (To Autolycus, Bk. II, ch. 27)

Irenaeus (130-202) Those who believe God and follow his word receive that salvation which flows from him. Those, on the other hand, who depart from him, and despise his precepts, and by their deeds bring dishonor on him who made them, and by their opinions blaspheme him who nourishes them, heap up against themselves most righteous judgment. (Against Heresies, Bk. IV, 33, 15)

Clement of Alexandria (c. 150 – c. 215) ... the elect being saved by instruction, and purification, and the doing of good works. ...  For by grace we are saved: not, indeed, without good works; but we must, by being formed for what is good, acquire an inclination for it. (The Stromata, Bk. V, ch. 1)

Tertullian (c. 160 – c. 220) But even if the stimulus of her repentance proceeded from her faith, she heard her justification by faith through her repentance pronounced in the words, ‘Your faith has saved you, by him who had declared by Habakkuk, The just shall live by his faith.’ [Habakkuk 2:4] (Against Marcion, Bk. IV, ch. 18)

Hippolytus (d. c. 235) He, in administering the righteous judgment of the Father to all, assigns to each what is righteous according to his works. ... the justification will be seen in the awarding to each that which is just; since to those who have done well shall be assigned righteously eternal bliss, and to the lovers of iniquity shall be given eternal punishment. ... The righteous will remember only the righteous deeds by which they reached the heavenly kingdom ... (Against Plato, On the Cause of the Universe, 3)

Origen (c. 185 – c. 253) So also in the race of our life we ourselves must expend labor, and bring diligence and zeal to bear; but it is from God that salvation is to be hoped for as the fruit of our labor. Otherwise, if God demands none of our labor, his commandments will appear to be superfluous. ... And in the matter of our salvation, what is done by God is infinitely greater than what is done by ourselves ... (De Principiis, Bk. III, ch. 1, 18)

Cyprian (210-258) Confession is the beginning of glory, not the full desert of the crown; nor does it perfect our praise, but it initiates our dignity; and since it is written, ‘He that endures to the end, the same shall be saved’ [Matthew 10:22] whatever has been before the end is a step by which we ascend to the summit of salvation, not a terminus wherein the full result of the ascent is already gained. (Treatise 1: On the Unity of the Church, 21)

Lactantius (c. 240 – c. 320) For this reason he has given us this present life, that we may either lose that true and eternal life by our vices, or win it by virtue. (Divine Institutes, Bk. VII, ch. 5)

Alexander of Alexandria (d. 328) Since therefore you know, brethren beloved, that the malignant and the unbelieving are the enemies of righteousness, beware of these, embrace faith and charity, by which all the holy men who have existed from the beginning of the world to this day have attained unto salvation. And show forth the fruit of charity, not in words only, but also in deeds ... (Epistles on Arianism and the Deposition of Arius, ch. 5, 2)

Hilary of Poitiers (c. 315-368) Election, therefore, is not a thing of haphazard judgment. It is a distinction made by selection based on merit. Blessed, then, is he whom God elects: blessed for the reason that he is worthy of election. (On Psalm 64 [65], section 5; in William A. Jurgens, editor and translator, The Faith of the Early Fathers, Vol. 1 [Collegeville, Minnesota: Liturgical Press, 1970], 386)

There was no such thing as a Catholic or Universal Church 2000 years ago. The true followers of Jesus/God are not religious. They are lawful. They preached the Gospel of the kingdom of God, not a church. Nor did they call themselves Christian, which, initially, and remains among those who know, a derogatory term meaning wicked. Followers of Messiah were Saints, disciples, brethren, servants of God, friends of God, Apostles....

The Old Testament is the foreshadow of the New Testament. Since Moses, there was a single Church with a hierarchical structure of levites (deacons), priests (presbyters), high priests (bishops) and high priest (pope).

Jesus left the same structure as you may check in the Acts of the Apostles and the writings of the first followers.

Even in the New Testament, the Church is presented as a building where the faithful are "living bricks" having different functions in an ordered structure, where the Apostles and their successors (faithful bishops) are the columns.

Timothy 3.15

... the household of God, ... is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth.

None of the above. The closest followers were the Albagensians/Cathars, the Waldensee, then the AnaBaptists. The English Puritans and Scot Coventers were staunch followers, but not all out, as the persecuted others. The Waldensee, before Rome genocided them in 1655, precipitated the Reformation whereby Calvin, Tyndale, Luther, Zwingly... took hold of their Scripts carried forward from Jesus's time, and away from Rome under continual persecution to translate into their languages. You should be looking for the best Scripture translation, not versions, nor some church or creed bound organization. The best and first complete translation of the Greek and Hebrew from this period to this day is the Geneva Bible. Use the KJV to compare and find what Satan tried to hide from us that is revealed in the Geneva.

Your relationship with God is to be one on one, and to assist others in doing the same through edification, admonishment, and exhortation. The head of God's church is the Word of God. The body of God is His believers in Him who keep His words. The temple of God is our bodies, as it is written.

James 5:14–15

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

There is no such thing as "last rites" in reality, which is God's will. This is a pagan invention, as well as their masses, all their ceremonial inventions and garb, feasts, Sabbath, and other catechismal teachings, which all are non-Scriptural or, at best, a twist on them.

They do not have the power to forgive or give absolution for our sins against God or another man, nor can we purchase forgiveness from them. They are permitted by God to feed off our sins as parasites and deceivers. Their whole Babylonian worship system is a lie and affront against God, as their progenitor, Nimrod , sought to do.

Rome is a different beast. They exalt themselves above Nimrod, too. They are their own gods, and they teach others to be the same., and to be subject to them. Most leaders of most religions of all forms/creeds in the world have acquiesced and rejoined formally and ceremonially to Rome's way and false authority in recent years. They even apologize to the papacy for Luther's acts. It's all a travesty, and a deadly one.

I truly hope the Catholic and other religious parishioners wake to this lie and dump these wretched leeches as-soon- as-possible.

Pergamos is sited by God to be the seat of Satan. The last king of Pergamos, the high priest of Babylon, bequeath his kingdom to Rome in 133 BC. Rome has been the seat of Satan, replete with Pergamos's high priest title, since then.

I view Rome as the herd of swine Legion was allowed by God to jump into from the body of a man it possessed. True history, from the unearthing of Pompeii to the journals of Jerome, Luther, and others, as well as current events show this assertion appears true. And this herd jumped into the holy see (sea)!

Rome has always been a haven or center for homosexuality, slavery, prostitution, child and adult sacrifice and pedophilia, especially among its senate and emperors, as well as its papacy. It has an insatiable conquering military power. US is one example. The whole of Europe, another. They still are, but they disguise themselves as men of God, and control the world subtly behind a veil of secrecy.

BTW, I was raised Euro Catholic. I was an altal boy. I had an uncle who was a Catholic priest/pastor, and an aunt who was a nun. My wife's family was similar, but her dad was Protestant. She, too, had an uncle who was a priest, a Jesuit head of an American Big Ten university theologian department. I, nor my kin, or her knew then what I and others have learned since. Most of my kin still cling to Catholicism, and some became atheist with money as their god.

The truth about the papacy is not taught, but is all available if you seek it out. I, too, was oblivious for 50 years of my pigrimage here to their ways, but always thought them to be strange.

The important thing about this study is that one can eventually see what God's remedy for us is against this beastly onslaught. So, it is worth studying, and exposing as we are to do per Ephesians 5:11, then perform works in faith per God's true instructions for us to become free in earth as it is in heaven.

Yet the Catholic priest was able to send me to God's very presence! For that, I am eternally grateful 🙌

I wonder if the priest knew what he did for you. Or if the increase in your faith and connection to God was the intention of his act. Priests and nuns typically do not read Scripture.
